anotheranonIt does appear that Gaiman's Death: The High Cost of Living is finally getting made into a feature film. Now the furious speculation begins - who will play Death? Ten years ago the obvious answer would have been Winona Ryder, but she is much too old now. So who will it be? Christina Ricci or Scarlett Johannson in black wigs spring to mind for me. Where does one find a perky goth teenager these days anyway?
On the reading stack: April Blood: Florence and the Plot Against the Medici - conspiracy, murder, and revenge in anticipation of seeing the Medici exhibit in Memphis next weekend, and The Power of Positive Confrontation, in an effort to overcome my standard sarcastic, nagging method of dealing. I'm also still reading The Salmon of Doubt; IMHO the funniest story so far was Adam's tale of becoming "the other human" to a pair of dogs.
Miscellaneous: refreshed hair dye, body polished, pedicured. I feel all fluffy now :) Even sewed a bit; I love the smell of french seams in the morning :P
