Date: 2003-08-21 09:54 am (UTC)Sad but true story of how glam affects the younger generations; when my oldest nephew was five, he was playing in the living room while my mother was taking a break and watching a taped Brit mystery. Tot pipes up to ask Grandma why none of the people on the TV are beautiful. That's a sample of how young an age all this appearance fixation affects people! Nephew turned 16 in June, so the affect age is likely much younger now ... if something doesn't change soon, we're gonna be building clinics for anorexic 6-month-olds!!!
