anotheranonWhy would aliens WANT to abduct us? Humans are after all very violent and I'm sure they think we smell funny.

Possibility one: It's a dirty job, but someone's got to do it... FOR SCIENCE!
Possibility two: They are building a bioengineered superweapon and they need DNA from all of the most evil and deadly creatures in the universe. E.g. the original William Gibson script for Alien 3, in which the alien becomes WAY WORSE when it hybridizes with humans.
Possibility three: Bored aliens do it for kicks, picking up some guy in the middle of nowhere, enjoying the fact that no one will ever believe him.
