anotheranonThere IS such a thing as too much sugar. At the rate my officemates and myself are bringing candy, pastries, brownies, and cake into the office for various celebrations (Halloween, birthdays, promotions, etc.) we're all going to gain 20 lbs and fall twitching in sugar comas long, long before Xmas ever gets here :P
New SCA Fencing Practice(TM) was a bit more hopeful this week. Possible Rapier Marshal(TM) didn't show, but I now have one other person to do footwork with. Also geeked out/griped about the latest Cate Blanchett "Elizabeth" movie, 18th century naval flags communication, and opportunities to pet real Enigmas.
If I'm not too wiped by Saturday I might try to do some SCAdian gift shopping and meet some of the costumer/rapier peeps I'm hearing about. Being too wiped is a distinct possibility, however - I'm not depressed but the dark/cold weather is slowing me way down.
Besides, I want to work on the vest. I've completed the straps, so today the hems, tomorrow the WOOOOORLD! :P
Felt the urge for some pretty over the weekend, so stopped by the MAC counter and came home with Viva Glams III and VI ("They're up to six already??" I asked the saleswoman - shows how long I've been away :P) - new, shiny, and the cost goes completely to charity. Yes, I'm rationalizing :P
