Star Wars gets a tv series. Here's hoping Lucas isn't one of the writers because... well.. just 'cos (hat tip betnoir) :P

And why spend 100 episodes on a young Luke Skywalker bullseyeing womprats on Tattoine? How Han Solo got to be Han Solo would be a much more exciting story!

Oh, same situation here - The original Star Wars looms large in my childhood memories. Getting my parents to take me to see Empire in the theater twice was the be all, end all of the summer after 1st grade.

But yes, the mighty have fallen, and it's ok to come out of the closet about it!!
