anotheranonSinus watch: I think I have allergies. Anyone else out there suffering?
Gas watch: As of yesterday regular was up to $3.75/gallon. I've decided to watch with interest but not get upset re: gas prices - after all, some European countries have been ponying up the equivalent of $8/gallon for years - maybe the market is finally righting itself :P
Of course, it's easy for me to say that - I have a small car and it's not winter yet. I shudder to see the heating bills if this keeps up :/

Date: 2005-09-07 11:26 am (UTC)As for biking to campus, there is actually a road parallel to Kennilworth that is bikeable, and then a path partway to campus from the bottom of that to the metro station. At the metro station, you go under their tunnel and through a nice residential neighborhood. And, voila, in 3/4 of a mile, campus. Not ideal, but not nearly as ridiculous as the totally unbikeable main road.
