what can you do for your country?

I tell ya, I couldn't make this stuff up:

Minimum qualifications include a BS in textile engineering or science, apparel design, textile product design or a related field, or equivalent experience....

Just imagine walking into your local JoAnn's and standing at the cutting table flanked by two sunglassed Men in Black:

Nice lady at the cutting table: Oh, this is a pretty fabric! What are you making?

(MIB cutting you off): Ma'am, if we tell you, we'd have to kill you.

I guess if it's still on their site, the position's not filled yet - any takers?

No, I'm NOT applying - I'd fail the psych profile and besides, I can't seem to shut up about my costumes!

My grandfather worked for the CIA for 30 years -- *hehhehheh* -- so lemme tell you -- how do you KNOW you'd fail the psych profile? You'd be surprised who the CIA wants. They're not the goodie-two-shoes types that the FBI recruits....

Job stability ... sew costumes... kill a few people.... all in a day's work!

Oh I think you should apply ... just to see what happens. ;-)

Trust me, I don't qualify - if they snooped more than a couple of years into my background they'd not see much, but see enough to know that I ain't their gal :P

And I suspect the climate of secrecy would get to me - imagine working on cool sewing projects with bleeding edge fabric technology and not being able to tell anyone! The torment!!

As Semmie said, ya never know. Could be that you're their fantasy employee ***teasing grin***

And don't you like the idea of attending every costume convention in the world as your cover? ;-)

Well, ya see - I don't know AutoCad, so they definitely don't want me! Yeah, yeah, that's the ticket....

I'm sure your local library has a copy of the latest edition of "AutoCAD for Dummies" ***evil grin***
