More on the pink thing

Most of you are probably sick of hearing about the vividness of the Pink Thing; except for geekchick I don't think anyone else who reads this has seen the actual color. At last, I can show evidence!

I still have no pix of the fabric I'm using, but shemhazai does in her latest update. You see what we have to live with; our corneas may never recover!

Imagine several different historical periods in this color. With rhinestone and silver accents. In abundance.

And, oh yes - platinum blonde wigs.

Despite my bitching about the project, this is going to be so perversely fun! Loud and obnoxious has it's place, and Costume Con is definitely it.

I still hope that I can dye it black afterwards :P

Interesting - I've never heard that one before!

I would argue that this pink is too strong for, say, lumberjacks - maybe this could qualify as the trendy "man pink" color I've heard about?

Could be. That bright pink shirt I was wearing in ol' T.O. is a man's shirt ... and for some strange reason it looked as if it'd never been worn when I bought it at the secondhand place ... can't imagine why not ;-)))))))
