snow day - good or bad?

Despite my joy at having unscheduled leave this morning, I am concerned about coverage at work. I'd try and straggle out in it except I'm concerned that there is more ice forecast - I might be able to get to work, but it's questionable that I'd be able to get home!

I've called work, with no answer - if there's something urgent going on, I'm going to try and get there. If not, I'm not sure I'd feel safe driving in this.

we also got snow! yay! big pretty flakes filling the air! I plan on tumbling in it all the way to the teakwondo training :)

Don't go! It's just work. How crucial can anything be if no one can get there to care?

Well, I did send emails to a number of my co workers to make sure there was coverage. The lack of response leads me to believe that you were right and there actually wasn't anyone there to care!

Wish I'd had one today. It was solid ice when we came out at 5. Railings, steps, sidewalks, parking lot, windshields. Made going home from work an adventure and a half!

Tomorrow may be worse, who can tell. Very weird weather. Stay home, Allison. That's an order!
