Coming to a screen (whether computer, tv, or wide remains to be seen) near you: Star Wreck, tech-heavy fan parody of Star Trek and Babylon 5. According to the site it's been so popular on the web that a Canadian (of course!) company is looking into making a series. How they'll ever get past the copyright issues is beyond me!

Watch the trailer - much of it is rather dark but I can see enough to tell that they are doing direct copies of the B5 and ST costumes and ships! Like I said - not sure if this will ever see anything outside of Quicktime format, but it is rather amusing!

Will watch it tonight ... did have a look at their still and saw the ST ships. Would assume, if the Canadian spinoff is "official", that they'd a teensy bit less obvious about sources (after all, a GOOD spoof shouldn't HAVE to include a program identifying the players).

BTW, speaking of watching things ... if you do have a desire to experience sick & twisted Canadian kiddie-TV, I discovered that the fansite for Frightenstein includes one complete, downloadable episode (a chance to see Vincent Price being VERY silly indeed ***grin***)
