jury duty lament

anotheranonIs it just me or does EVERY SINGLE Wednesday have crap weather that makes the commute home a nightmare? (Actually, I KNOW it's not just me - my fellow jurors have noticed this as well). This evening was chock full of fog and rain, and the 25 miles took an hour and a half. Getting sick of this! At least I was able to write a few Xmas cards during the breaks.
Came home to the delightful scent of D.'s homemade chili - I swear, I should send him to chef school and just let him make everything :P
Have been reading up on rapier terminology and insuring a supply of Ghirardelli chocolate hazelnut. I'm going to try and stretch out tonight because spending 10+ hours on my ass in both courtroom and in traffic are killing my back!!
