jury duty lament
Is it just me or does EVERY SINGLE Wednesday have crap weather that makes the commute home a nightmare? (Actually, I KNOW it's not just me - my fellow jurors have noticed this as well). This evening was chock full of fog and rain, and the 25 miles took an hour and a half. Getting sick of this! At least I was able to write a few Xmas cards during the breaks.
Came home to the delightful scent of D.'s homemade chili - I swear, I should send him to chef school and just let him make everything :P
Have been reading up on rapier terminology and insuring a supply of Ghirardelli chocolate hazelnut. I'm going to try and stretch out tonight because spending 10+ hours on my ass in both courtroom and in traffic are killing my back!!

Sounds like he's doing pretty damn good even without school. There's nothing cozier than coming home to something yummy cooking (and it does seem to act as an aromatherapy cure for stress).
