Icon speaks of my overall mood - out of sorts but not quite into the "grumpy" box, then reading my LJ I realized: that's right, it IS the shortest day of the year! Which is good, because it means they can start getting longer from here on out!

Fencing: went painfully slowly last night, due to technical difficulties (bad wiring = scoring buzzer going off when it shouldn't). Very annoying and too much standing around (and too few people! I mean, IMHO fencing = holiday, why did everyone stay home? </vent>) :P Given that my Usual Club is closed the week between Xmas and New Year's, I'm checking the schedules of all the Other Local Clubs because can't...go..a week... WITHOUT!

tinynibbles has her own top year's 10 sexiest geeks (love the "GILF" abbreviation!), most of which I've not heard of, but many of whom seem geeky enough for me to rethink my lack of attention :P As for her curiosities about the Ninja's sex life, perhaps she should just ask - after all, that's what he's there for.

I am tired and disoriented and sore (lifted weights tonight), going to do a bit of sewing and watch "The Adventures Of Sherlock Holmes" (and if Holmes and Watson aren't more than "hetero life partners", I'll eat my shiny hat)...
