the shelf theory of mathematics
Mar. 13th, 2006 11:08 pmThere is only limited space in my brain for mathematical formulas. Hence, working on simple and compound interest all weekend knocked basic addition off my "shelf", so I failed to realize that Saturday + 6 days != next Saturday, necessitating me to order out from Baja Fresh to have enough dinners for the week :P
Speaking of Baja Fresh, I've seen this over at
ragdoll's and
flummoxicated's, among others:
( guilt trippin )
Watched the last episode of "Rome" with dinner. It may be short on historical accuracy, but the plots-within-plots are good and the overall "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern Do The Roman Empire" groove is thoroughly entertaining. The emotions the actors manage to convey with a mute expression is priceless. Recommended, from a dramatic viewpoint.
Tired now.
