This morning (or rather, afternoon) I woke up
starving. Made a huge sheet of whole wheat biscuits that rose
just so, opened up all the windows because it's been a beautiful couple of days :)
Most of yesterday I spent studying for the midterm. I actually met in person some of the people in my online class for a study session on campus, and I think we all got something out of it. Me: how to do linear regressions again (I need to work on these some more); I was able to help out with matrices which IMHO make perfect sense if you don't lose your place :P I feel mostly good about the exam, but didn't learn until I looked at the "practice midterm" that interest (last week's assignment, which is still a tangled mess for me) was to be included :( So cramming continues.
Took a break and went out last night and for a few hours was blissfully not thinking about college math. It was kind of a going away and welcoming party at once, with the departure of one coinciding with the arrival of another. Went home wonderfully tired and slept deeply.
Fencing: went an hour late today and retained enough stamina to do some light bouting. Triumph! I actually hit someone! Small triumph, as she was tired out by an hour's worth more of drills than me but I'll take my successes where I can :P Rapier is slow, difficult, and tries my endurance every time, but I love it, I do... it's just so logically elegant, and the weapons are so
purty....
