Third time's the charm - D. and I finally managed to get our flu shots by arranging appointments at our general practitioners'. In, out, real quick: it only took half an hour to go, get stabbed, stop by the library, and come home. It's the most efficient flu clinic I've seen this year :)
I picked up another in C.J. Cherryh's "Foreigner" series (thanks
jlsjlsjls,
hadesgirl and
semmie17 for spurring my curiosity - does it matter if I read them in the wrong order?) and the latest Kage Baker. I also picked up Susie Bright's "State of the Sexual Union" as I figure I enjoy her blog so well, I might want to read some of her "dead tree" work too.
I know I have some writing (and sewing) I want to get to today, but I'm going to spend a few hours reading, whittling down the stack and having fun doing it :)
