a whole new level of laziness
Dec. 4th, 2005 01:57 pmI got up about half an hour ago (for those with wonky clocks - 1:30 pm).
I had thought to go fence, but the practice is in Annapolis. In about (looks at watch) 2 minutes. Ain't gonna happen.
I have no idea why I slept so long. D. suggests weird week + flu shot, and maybe he's right, but DAMN! I've missed half the day (more than half, if you consider the sun will be setting in about 3 hours).
I did have nice dreams. I was living in Athens again, and had two boyfriends: one was older and wealthy, the other was my age, funny, and had a weird car. Minor crisis of the dream was when Mr. Funny started working for Mr. Wealthy and I tried to keep them from finding out about each other. Mr. Wealthy didn't mind; Mr. Funny was upset, but not that much.
There was also a library full of historic tomes on costume, food, and music, and I was terrified that it had burnt down - was it mine? I checked on it and it was ok.
And I walked back home barefoot over a freshly mowed lawn, trying to avoid stepping on Japanese beetles perching in the grass. Not because they were gross or scary, but just because it's mean.
I have GOT to go do something to remind myself I'm not that much of a slacker...
