(no subject)

After a week of long commutes in hot weather in a car with no air conditioning, I am forced to consider that it might be a really good idea to get that A/C fixed.

You may notice by the time and date that I'm posting that I'm not at fencing. After 2 hours baking on the Beltway I could.....NOT.... face getting back into that infernal car again.

And if I was cooking, I shudder to think of what happens when D. finally gets a job, and we're sharing the car for awhile - there's no way he'd be able to arrive at an office in any presentable state :(

I think I'm going to try to put into the shop while I'm visiting hadesgirl - that way I have a rental for the drive and the car's being fixed while I don't need it in town.

Definitely go to the site and read the commentary - intelligent stuff there. Also a way to read the novel if you never have - just a bit each day.
