New item that makes for a harmonious feline universe: sheepskin scraps. Or, more precisely,
a sheepskin scrap (they don't get the whole box :P) placed in the middle of the floor will set all of Spice's predatory instincts all a-quiver, triggering a grand mal frisky and making her very happy :) Kisia is not as overwhelmed, but the smell definitely got her attention. If your cats
need want any sheepskin scraps, email me privately. They're about 6-7" square and all are odd shaped.
Secret to coding my final lab: put on audio book and crunch away. The database I designed for class stores fabric, so I've plugged last weekend's purchases into it as test data (see, now THERE's a good excuse - "I needed it for school" :P)
Speaking of audio (and other books): I'm hearing from several quarters that Philip Pullman's
His Dark Materials series is a good remedy for post-Harry hangover. I've not read any but have the first transferring to my local branch, hopefully by Saturday.
Long drives in the heat after long days in cold air conditioning are wearing me down badly and D. pressed me to take a short nap after work. I'm sure I didn't doze for more than 10 minutes, but it DID make a difference. It's terrible that I have to be reminded to rest :/
But I'm remembering now. Nighty night y'all....
