Are you sure we're talking about the same book? IIRC Lost Girls only came out a couple of years ago, & only the pricey boxed edition (which I was lucky enough to receive as a generous gift).
Yup! We got it almost as soon as it came out. sequentialscott is a fan of Alan Moore (Watchmen guy, if I've gotten names wrong).
It's shelved on the bookcase with few other books on the top shelf, away from all the other comics, so the kidlet won't really notice it and start reading. She doesn't need to read those particular adventures of Alice, Wendy, or Dorothy. ;-p
