Costume Con prep
Apr. 29th, 2009 09:28 pmSo, I've got one Friday Night social, one Historic Masquerade, one Sci-Fi fantasy masquerade, and hall costumes for at least one day to pack (I'm not competing, but one would hate to be underdressed!).
I think I've (mostly) got what I need, with stuff to spare. Biggest space-taker are the shoes, because all the outfits require something different, and some require boots.
Nothing, save the Firefly vest, is new. Unless there is a pronounced dip in temperature, the fitted gown is staying home - I LURVE it but it's fulled wool, and too heavy even for indoors if it's over 70F!
I'm nervous because I feel like I'm pulling out most of my stops and am still going to be woefully incomplete-looking. But I'm excited because I get to see friends, learn stuff, and where else can I wear sci fi AND historic to the same event?
And Miyake. Must remember the Miyake.
