More than just the whiff of "Life on Mars" about it, but it has Jemima Rooper so if it ever makes it stateside I'm willing to give it a go.
Much as I love history and pretty Regency gowns, however, I have to say I wouldn't want to live in any other time period but now, with it's indoor plumbing, scientific healthcare and (imperfect, but relative) equality between the sexes.

Date: 2008-08-22 01:03 pm (UTC)However, as much as I love modern sanitation, I'd love to be able to visit the past for short periods of ime. I figure if I can handle porta-potties and mud for a weekend of reenactment, I can handle less than perfect sanitation for a week or so to really experience the past.
