anotheranonAmanda Price...discovers a gateway in her flat and ends up being transported to her favourite world, the world of Pride and Prejudice:
More than just the whiff of "Life on Mars" about it, but it has Jemima Rooper so if it ever makes it stateside I'm willing to give it a go.
Much as I love history and pretty Regency gowns, however, I have to say I wouldn't want to live in any other time period but now, with it's indoor plumbing, scientific healthcare and (imperfect, but relative) equality between the sexes.
