One of Miss Spice's less endearing habits is peeing out of bounds to let us know when to change the litter.

Today Gateway insisted he be let out on the deck and promptly climbed into one of my potted plants. Fine, cat, I got it. Litter scooping time.

It sucks because in the past she's done this to alert us to UTIs and other distress, so I'm never exactly sure whether she's ill or just trying to tell me something. Given that until I changed them we were heading into Worst Litterbox In Scotland territory (yes, I'm a bad cat servant, no donut) I'm guessing the latter this go round....
