Finally took a backhoe to cleaned off the top of my desk and unearthed some long-ongoing UnFinished Objects:

• photocopy of costume article for translation from Italian into English (where "translate" means "feed into Babelfish, one page at a time")
  
• Rosetta Stone installation disc that I need to continue to fight with (!*%&*@! Vista)
  
• old rave flyers that I still need to date, in the sense of finding out what year in the 1990s they are from
  
• offload photos in camera from this past Friday (this may be the easiest of the lot to complete)
  

...and multiple friends have written some very interesting and compelling posts...

..aaaand, just discovered that I need to dye some more taffeta burgundy...

I've been a bit slow and spacey all day - could be hardcore workout at fencing; could just be the lull after a week/end of go go go. I think I may really, truly, get in bed early tonight.
