Shoes like Steve Madden's Twilight pump (can't direct link, it's under "Dress"). make me wish I could wear heels. I just love the fetishy quality of the ankle straps and the dramatic pointed toe.

Actually, my current shoe mission is to find a pair of elegant-but-flat thong sandals to wear with the Fortuny. Gap has something close, but apart from not wanting to shop at the Gap, they don't come in black.

Think it's time for a raid on DSW...
