Mmmm ... sherbet ... love it even more than ice cream. One of the grocery stores up here sells an own brand that is a mouth-puckeringly-tart lemon with tiny chips of sour lemon candy in it ... :d

I still love me some chocolate frozen yoghurt, but orange sorbet has a refreshing, clean taste.

Same thing with margaritas, interestingly - sweet but not heavy.

That's why sherbets used to served between dinner courses rather than as a dessert ... they were palate cleansers, preparing one's tastebuds to fully enjoy what was being served next without any contamination of flavours from the previous course. :-)

Don't know if margaritas would work the same way ... ;p
