My "mental shelf" is getting shorter and shorter:

Today:

Remembered: grocery list, check for deposit; Forgot: bags to recycle, bags so I won't HAVE to recycle

This week:

Remembered: dry cleaning, things to ship; Forgot: bag (containing thermos of coffee, mp3 player, lunch)

It used to be 3 things were my maximum, not 2 :(

I need to start making lists, even though I often forget them as well :/

Wow, that's slipping below Dora the Explorer. (All the episodes require her to go three places.) My 5 year old granddaughter chides me if I can't remember three things, because that's what Dora does. (Usually this is not a problem for me. Perhaps you're pushing yourself too hard?)

I'm definitely overextended schedule/activity wise, if that's what you mean...

I just pile everything against the inside of the front door or hang it on the doorknob ... that way I can't get out without picking it all up. :p

I use the listmaking bit in my Palm Pilot Z22. That way I can happily make dozens of lists and just check them off -- or, in my case, have to make the same list over and over again especially towards the end of the semester when it's the same hundred things I havetodorightnow in the last week of school.

It's especially useful for grocery lists. You can input recipes and just check off the ingredients.
