back to the grind

anotheranonBack to work this morning. Still having post-vacation afterglow, but tired because for some unaccountable reason I was awake around 5 am.
It's going to be a busy couple of weeks. This coming weekend, D. and I are taking in a play on Firday and then my parents will visit for the weekend. Weekend after, D.'s mom and aunt are visiting.
Incredibly, I learned how to relax a bit in NYC, if only because I didn't have the usual everyday distractions around me. I read more, I ate more slowly, I wasn't in a rush to get anywhere. I guess it's true what they say about folks from DC going to NYC to relax! Now if I can just REMEMBER what I learned...
