I think I'm one of the very few who wasn't impressed with any of the 1980s/90s Batman films. I remember the huge fuss about the first one and it was ok, largely due to Jack Nicholson as the Joker, but not everything it was hyped to be.

I much prefer the most recent incarnation with Christian Bale.
