And surprise, surprise, I actually LIKE some of the colors! Especially the one they're calling "snorkel blue" - I picked up some fabric about that shade last weekend. I imagine it being a Miyake one day.

I remember a couple of years ago when everything seemed to be hot pink or bright orange. Or both [shudder]. Not overly fond of the pastels, but these are spring colors - nothing's perfect.

The blue, the purple and the red are good. The rest sort of leave me cold, but I've been told that I look good in olive.

Love that shade of red (it was "collegiate red" a few years ago ... up here, anyway) ... wish the purple and the olive had that depth of colour. But, even though I like my colors richer/darker, overall it's a nice range. And I hear you on the colours of the past ... seems like every summer since forever the summer colours have been bright lime green and bright sky blue or bright orange, or else the hot pink and bright orange combo you mention, with only white offered as a "neutral" (yeah, like white's gonna last five seconds where I work)

Now if somebody could only convince the designers that some people really really HATE cropped pants and would appreciate the option of ankle- or full-length in summer too ... :p
