and so on, and so forth, etc.
Apr. 23rd, 2002 08:54 pmSlow day at work, so I spent much of the day looking for/at websites that cater to web development for users with disabilities. I found Joe Clark's accessibility site chock full o' resources and such.
Found this site for creative pros mentioned in a design magazine; may check it out in my "abundant free time" (ha!) even though it's (cringe) grossly deficient on the usability/accessibility front.
Finding this site got me to thinking about how I've dropped most of my creative pursuits outside of sewing. I'm thinking that this summer I may try to take a figure drawing class here, assuming they offer summer classes (which fencing doesn't, hence my having time to look at other things). I've never learned to draw from life - moving or posed - and it's been years since I even attempted to copy photographs. It wouldn't hurt me to get back into practice.
Meanwhile, back to the sewing thang and putting some books and magazines away.
