It's astounding how the stupidity rises dramatically when there is white stuff in the air :P

Fortunately, I was spared the worst of it: I've been taking a class downtown for the past 2 days so I've been using the subway.

The class was on web analytics. I find this seemingly "dry" topic quietly involving, as I'm finally learning how all those numbers can be used to represent activity by actual people. Faster connections, more/better gadgets and shiny things are fine and dandy, but it's the human use of the internet that still fascinates me, all these years after my first Prodigy(!) account when I learned what a fantastic collaborative and social tool it is :)

Boyshorts are perhaps the comfiest, pretties panties ever (at least for me). However, I could stand a bra of last resort if I plan to keep doing this "jumping footwork" warmup.

I've made surprising headway on holiday shopping.

The internet is truly amazing. Like aspirin, it's become such an unquestionable part of our daily lives that many people forget what a huge change it is.

Also--the Last Resort bra is what I use at the gym. Not only does it support me (DDD me!) without a single bounce or jiggle, but it can also be worn in lieu of a corset under Elizabethan styles that don't really need a perfectly flat form. I give it a thumbs up!

I often forget, and I certainly know better! I still remember the late night chats with people all over the world - for free, in real time, and in text so I could keep up with everyone at once!

And collaboration - how did people throw (and attend!) raves without it? How else to best coordinate the talent, space and attendees with the least effort and have all the correspondence filed tidily away in one place....

You were the one who first recommended the Enell bra to me, but until recently I didn't really consider that I might need it because I wasn't doing anything that created significant jolting. Now...well, I'm thinkin' about it!

The Internet is as big a human culture changer as fire and the wheel ... the freedom and extent of communication and information it allows are breathtaking (it's an event important enough that I'm sure someday there'll be alternate history fiction written based on what-if-the-Internet-wasn't-invented).

P.S. Isn't it wonderful how supposedly "dry" topics come to life when you figure out the RL application (doing that used to help me tremendously with math classes)
