living on the SUN
Apr. 17th, 2002 09:17 pmIt was 99F when I left work today.
I'm a little tired out from going between the cold A/C - hot outdoors, but at the same time I can't stay inside. Hellish though it is, I LOVE this kind of weather; I am so cold natured it has to get nearly this hot before I can walk around outside without a sweater or jacket. It also wakes up my mind and gets the gears cranking like nothing else.
Which is something not going on with my sewing machine (gears cranking, that is). Well, it's not that bad, but I was using old thread again (wrist slap to self) and it kept creating huge loops and knots. Opened up a fresh spool and hopefully this will help - I certainly hope so as it took me over an hour to stitch 2 feet of straight seams tonight.
