so.... Tuesday
Apr. 16th, 2002 10:25 pmVery little to report. More work on the tailcoat (typing it here reminds me that if I am consistent, this huge project will proceed).
Had a weird dream last night (or was it the night before?). Another of the neverending series where I'm still in college. This one I was moving back into the dorms and having to deal with a roomate that hogged the computer. I quickly decided that I could use my cellular free minutes to call D. rather than use email. I then kept thinking to myself "I'm 29 years old, when am I ever going to graduate?". I'm sure there's some metaphor here that I'm never going to "graduate" - going to keep learning, going, moving on and up. Still, I wish my dreams were less about the hassles of continuing education and more about the joys of education itself...
Work was dull, but I've got a project hitting me tomorrow and possibly more in the pipe. On the upside, I took a number of walks in this hellishly hot (read: right up my alley!) weather. Been reading "The Design of Everyday Things" for inspiration.
Cats were thrilled because they killed a bug last night. Spice is still in hunt mode - every spot on the wall recieves one of her teeny "Marilyn Monroe" mews in the hope that it's another kill. I'm so proud - they're such good little predators :)
Still struggling with the perpetual issues of not enough hours in the day to read, sew, play with cats, play with D.
