what ARE you?

anotheranonThis is the question I'm been lobbing at at my sewing machine feet for half the morning. In a fit of organization this morning I decided to dig them all out of their cramped space in the sewing machine's accessories drawer and put them in a nice divided box with labels.
Alas, some of them are so mysterious that I have no idea why I got them or what they do. I can't find even a picture of one of them on any of the usual sewing sites, yet somehow in the past 2 years I acquired two of them :P
The connection is slow this morning so while I'm waiting for pictures of obscure knots of twisted metal and wire to cough up I've been perusing Dorothy Surrenders, "a gay gal's guide to pop culture". How can I fault a site that has Tina Fey Tuesdays and Emma Thompson before 10 am? Lotsa pretty pretty pix and the author seems to like geeky/funny girls :)

Date: 2007-10-01 02:20 am (UTC)I'm thrilled with that second link too, as I've come across some of these feet in the sewing mags in technique articles, but, though they talk about using them, they rarely show what they look like or how they're "loaded." ***seriously covets the foot that applies bias binding***
