hello, would you like some crack?
Apr. 13th, 2002 12:23 amToo many tempting things being placed before me!!
G Street fabrics is having a sale.
One of my historic costume lists is currently having a discussion about the best way to cut Tudor sleeves and necklines to make them look just like all those portraits of Henry VIII's wives - so interesting, in fact, that I've just GOT to make ANOTHER Tudor to see if these techniques will work, a project I emphatically have NO time for at the moment!
Cutting out the tailcoat lining religiously. Just both interfacings and the satin contrast to go. I would have cut more tonight but leaning over the table was starting to hurt, and I responsibly decided not to push it.
In an attempt to relax I gave myself a long-needed pedicure - I used a iridescent beige that I've not used for awhile; red seemed awfully dark for warm weather.
Tomorrow - par-tay with the interfacing.
