why Star Wars Fans hate Star Wars

timcharmorbien and others, the short version being: "Every true Star Wars fan is a Luke Skywalker, looking at his twisted, evil father, and somehow seeing good".
I say this as someone who just completed viewing the re-re-(re?)mastered "Return of the Jedi", only to be treated to the nauseating vision of Hayden Christiansen materializing beside Alec Guinness (an actor who he will never be worthy to share a screen with, even with CGI) at the end [shudder]....
