Sleek, fast-like-a-jackrabbit new computer (courtesy D.) arrived today. Not on the network yet but DAMN it moves so smooth! It will be merrily hooked up once the )(*!$!~ power in the basement stops flickering...

All the better to cruise foreign language museum databases with, my dear.....

Think it'll be called "Bucky".

Er, well... yes. But only because you write such short posts! I'd love to see you carry more of a plot with Llita, instead of just having her react -- I know it's not your thing, but it would be fun to see you give it a try. :) I'd be happy to give suggestions, if you'd like, but I'm convinced that you're good on your own -- especially since I've seen you do it on the CZ! :) So consider this a *cheer* and not a pokle.

I regret being short of late - between travel, computer problems, and the umpteen other things I have going on, my fic has taken rather a back seat :/

If you can sit tight until sometime after Memorial Day I might be able to work on something a bit crunchier!

Congrats! Nothing like brand new machines to inspire you to clean, organize, make cool icons & generally upgrade one's computer tools by five or six years.

Is it a laptop or desktop?

Fun name for a computer. My three are named Lola (backup drive), Spitfire (main desktop) and my new macBook is named Bettie. We sense a theme here...I can't wait until Ernie lets me rename his machine Rosie. And his backup drive Jayne.

I think I'll be waiting a while.
