Catching up on "Heroes": Sulu as Hiro's dad, 9th Dr. Who (Christopher Eccleston) as cantankerous new hero = hours of amusement and "oh my god is that - ?" moments.

Catching up on BSG: Balthar gets pistol-whipped. This is cathartic.

Re: Heroes - There's been lots of geek glee on the net over the license plate number on Mr. Nakamura's car.

Eccleston was fantastic in last week's episode. I'm so mad I taped 24 and watched this live.

Re: BSG - I was really looking forward to Baltar finally getting his once back aboard Galactica but what happened onscreen was less than satisfying. What do you think of the romantic rectangle between Lee/Dee/Kara/Anders? A lot of folks are complaining that the storyline's too soapy but tv insiders say that it's drawing more female viewers. No one's saying anything about the effect it's having on female viewers who were already fans of the show. :(

I am hoping that this is just the beginning of Balthar's punishment - as far as I've watched, he still believes he's the injured party and I think the worst will come when he realizes that he actually has some responsibilty for what he's done.

Re: romantic quadrangle - I think that Anders and Dee are clued into the reality of the situation and Lee and Kara aren't. I too don't want it to turn into a soap opera, but there's no way NOT to address that mess.

I do think Dee and Anders smack Lee and Kara HARD with the clue bat and dump them!
