I've been rolling this idea back and forth in my mind for around a year, and while I'm by no means ready to plan anything soon, I thought I'd float the idea:

If I were to host a kind of "salon" where my creative buddies can all get together to work on their things and bounce ideas off each other:

I'm a novice knitter/embroiderer, but I have lots of yarn and needles in my closet that are just waiting to be used. If noone wants to be bothered with a novice, then I'd just take out my notebook and start writing.
