Got all my appointments done. My teeth are clean and my birth control is updated for another 3 months.

Irritation of the day: my doc has joined a medical group that is owned/operated by conservative Catholics, so - no more Depo. Whatever - frankly I'm astonished that ANY OB/GYN could condone this horrible interference of religious dogma on their medical practice, but my ex-doc is evidently gaining some help in his practice from it. And, to be fair, he was understanding when I told him I'd have to find another doctor. He referred me to someone else in his building that has no such restrictions, which is a relief - I was thinking I'd have to get all my paperwork, go to someone new, endure yet another exam, blah ad nauseum to qualify to continue my BC. In this day and age even the Catholic church should learn to mind its business re: womens' bodies, but its perfectly legal for a business to choose what services it will and will not do, and I am too tired and too peeved to go off about this particular topic just now.

Otherwise, day went well but I did lots of driving. Also no caffiene so I'm starting to drag a bit.

Listened to my hairdressers tales of doing hair and partying in New York, Milan, Budapest...I suspect he's exaggerating, but whether he is or isn't he seems to be having fun - listening is certainly more entertaining than just sitting silently in the chair.

Also got a new sewing machine foot pedal custom made at the local repair shop - I'm hoping it will last; apparently the one that broke was put together with glue (!) and its surprising it lasted as long as it did.
