on Southern femininity

anotheranonFrom my perspective the ideal of Southern femininity is strongly geared towards self-effacing hospitality. However this definition of "hospitality" isn't generally what our mamas have in mind for us :P
Or, at least, we're not supposed to ADMIT it...
