Costume College is back on

anotheranonI finally got in touch with the registrar and she told me that my reciept went out today, and a package with class/tour/event details will go out in late April. The Costume College P.O. box is not incredibly local to her so its not like she stops by every day.
So - I am registered for both classes and the time travelers gala, like I thought I was. I also found out that the TTG theme this year is Jules Verne - maybe a good excuse to do some "steam goth" (with Victorian-era gears, switches, etc.) type stuff. Not like you HAVE to stick with the theme or anything.
Or maybe just stick with the Fortuny, which I am 95% sure will be "it" - it is blue green and with some jewelry could pass for a "20,000 Leagues Under the Sea" mermaid or something...that and it will pack well.
In other news, someone Very High Up at my workplace has decided that government employees are restricted in their Net use to business only - and contractors even more so. Everyone thinks its paranoid, batty, and unenforceable, but there it is. I doubt it will last but until then, absolutely NO LJ, newsgroups, etc. I suppose that Wired and Slashdot still count as "business". Outside of this inanity work has been frustrating of late but not as bad as I perhaps make it out to be - they just paid for me to go to a class and are looking into some training for Premiere..
I'm scheduled to give blood again next Friday. I am still working on the fear of needles thing. Needle followed by jewelry is not a problem. Needle attached to syringe/blood collecting bag still is. I'm ok as long as I can't see the needle but clench up if I see it for a second.
Tired and headachey - the chiro did a serious *CCCRRRRUNCH* on me tonight and I think my skull is re-adjusting to my straightened spine.
No coffee today - good because I didn't feel cranky today, bad because I felt sort of lackluster and started drifting off at my desk. Damn, I've become one of the caffiene slaves (once again). Could be worse I suppose.
