anotheranonVery frustrated because I can't reach the Costume College registrar. I don't think my registration ever reached them, yet I don't want to risk paying twice and I don't want to re-send registration for the Time Traveler's Gala if it's already sold out. Dammit! Planning this vacation to CA to costume geek and all this time I was never technically signed up...
In the interest of saving $ I picked up instant coffee at the grocery yesterday - tastes awful but does the job of waking me up (and contributing to crankiness on days like today). I have a coffee pot; I suppose I could just brew proper drip brewed coffee but it seems like a waste given that I only want about 1/2 cup in the morning and the rest won't get drunk at all (D. is a tea man).
Spending the day looking for online Premiere training. We are spinning our wheels at work trying to resolve technical issues that someone, somewhere has probably figured out already but we're all digital video newbies around here so we waste bukus of time troubleshooting.
On the up side: I am having a girls's night at my house in a couple of weekends, woohoo!!! I've missed girlie bonding; it will be fun to nibble chocolate pie and do whatever else we end up doing. Maybe I'll get one of those spa/pedicure kit thangs for the evening...
Also recieved beads/wire so I can start the cobalt blue/gold necklace thang I've been wanting to start. I swear, I must have been a crow in a former life because I have this unaccountable attraction to Shiny Things.
Managed to cut out the other piece of the Fortuny without cutting it in half. Lets see if finishing the seams/assembly goes as smoothly.
