Old news to some, but in case you missed it the first time: If you're using Firefox there might be a script that can check any books you look up on Amazon to see if they're in your local library.

I'm using one for my local public library system and it's GREAT - saves me time (I don't have to open up another tab to cross reference) and $ (because if the library's got it, I don't have to get it). Very cool :)

Props to D., who keeps up with these sorts of things.

Ooo ... very nifty AND the Calgary Public Library is on the list. I'm not using Firefox at the moment, but that could change. :-) ***memories***
