No spoilers, not really:

Lots of absurd (but visually entertaining) swordplay. Keira Knightley's Elizabeth is no shrinking violet in this one - I don't think I've seen her kick this much ass since "Bend It Like Beckham"!

Chock full of innuendo, suntanned skin, and lurching from the prettiest characters. Don't say you weren't warned.

Thrill to to the adventures of fresh fish! Rotten fish! And barnacles in new places!

All together it's not high art and the plot doesn't even drive it that hard, but it's wonderful fun. And the makeup artists used MAC (who else could make a black eyeliner that would see Jack Sparrow through multiple saltwater, soot, and and slime encrusted adventures and still stay intact?)

Costumery: lots of fantastic 18th centuryish ("-ish" because nothing in this movie is remotely realistic) frock coats and vests that the "aging team" (there is one - stay for the credits) clearly ran through a shredder and then ran over multiple times with a semi...

Stay 'til after the credits, there's a small funny.

I think it could've been about 20 minutes shorter. I would've cut pretty much the whole cannibal island thing. I actually was kind of disappointed with the movie the first time I saw it, but on a second viewing I enjoyed it a lot more and caught a few little things that I missed the first time around.

The cannibal island thing was kind of pointless, but I enjoyed the "kebab" and the Indiana Jones echo :P
