This is funny as hell, but at least it panders to my vanity - so far my "matches" include Cindy Crawford, Bette Davis, and Uma Thurman. Some not so flattering (Ruhoalla Khomeini?) and some just confusing - somehow I am simultaneously McGonnagal AND Hagrid (Maggie Smith and Robbie Coltrane came up).

In person I've heard that I resemble Angelina Jolie (bah, I wish! The comparison was her role in "Hackers", and I think it's my attitude more than my, er, lips) and Molly Ringwold.

At the risk of pandering even more to the celebrity-worshiping culture I live in, I'll throw it out there - anyone care to share their own results on this thing? Or, have you been told you resemble a celebrity? If so, which one, and do you agree?

LOL! I get Song Hye-kyo (who I'll have to look up) as my closest match; after that it's Cyndi Lauper, Gretchen Wilson, Tata Young (both also unknown-to-me names), Gina Lollabrigida and Ashley Judd at the 50% mark ... after that it's all unknowns again. Never mind vanity ... I'm just amazed to have seen ANY names/faces that I recognize. :p

Using the photo that this icon comes from, my top matches were:

* Shannon Elizabeth
* Mary-Kate Olsen
* Leslie Caron
* Katie Holmes
* Vivien Leigh
* Rose McGowan
* Becky Griffin (who?)
* Natalie Imbruglia
* Margaret Atwood (bwah!)
* Sade Adu (I wish!)

I'm pretty sure those matches were almost all because the photos they have are slightly off-center in the same way mine is rather than because I particularly look like most any of them.

My closest match at 60% is Jose Saramago, a Portugese journalist and Pulitzer Prize winning novelist. I assume that August Strindberg and Henri Becquerel were chosen for their sweeping moustaches, and I'm going to pretend that's how I ended up with William Henry Taft, though even I can see the resemblence. Flattering :p. How Bob Marley got in the mix, I cannot say, but Taft was in a dead heat with Leslie Nielsen, with a bemused Bob right behind, then Michael Moore - - come on, even I think I look more like Michael Moore than Leslie Nielsen! And I have no idea who Wim Kok is, but I don't see the resemblence - -

Jose Saramago, 60%
Leslie Nielsen, 59%
William Henry Taft, 59%
Bob Marley, 57%
Wim Kok, 57%
Michael Moore, 56%
Pierre de Couberton, 56%
August Strindberg, 54%
Dan Brown, 51%
Henri Becquerel, 49%
