Star Wars gets a tv series. Here's hoping Lucas isn't one of the writers because... well.. just 'cos (hat tip
betnoir) :P
And why spend 100 episodes on a young Luke Skywalker bullseyeing womprats on Tattoine? How Han Solo got to be Han Solo would be a much more exciting story!

OTOH, there's been buzz of Nathan Fillion replacing Harrison Ford as Indy.
For Fillion's sake, I actually hope that doesn't come to pass, although he'd do a bang-up job with it.

:P Of COURSE he thought it - Lucas can't write dialog to save his life, but he's not stupid.
I think it would be a fair warning to most actors - don't ever put yourself in a situation where Lucas will potentially direct you/write your lines. However, if we could get an Indy with Fillion where Lucas does art direction and Whedon does script/direction, it could be quite promising!

Lucas kinda fell off a cliff after the first two movies, IMO.

But yes, the mighty have fallen, and it's ok to come out of the closet about it!!

But I'd be afraid having him take on such an iconic role as Indy would invariably lead to unfair comparison between him and Ford.
Which would ultimately be an injustice to Fillion.
