on being good
Feb. 5th, 2006 01:07 pmI've been doing too much windowlicking - it's affecting my priorities.
I've got bills, school, groceries, and Other Obligations(TM) that make things like lavishly illustrated art books and electrical fencing gear impractical purchases at best, irresponsible ones at worst - especially after realizing I'm going to have to pony up for the damn real calculator anyway as I have to take something into mideterms/finals :P
In my fervent attempts to have the best of both worlds, here's my plan: pay my bills, cut costs where necessary, and do my taxes. Surely I've got something coming back to me this year, and there's nothing like spending government funds on useful things like Henry VIII inventories and body cords :P
Yes, I'm selfish and covetous :P

Date: 2006-02-05 08:49 pm (UTC)Seriously - this is the best idea yet that I've heard! I've contacted the campus math/science lab. I just bought a calculator, but it's staying in it's packaging until I hear back. Thank you!
